Traditional

Screen printing

Traditional screen printing is ideal for high quantity orders featuring simple designs. The higher setup costs associated with creating an individual screen for each color can quickly be offset by the cheaper cost-per-print. There are also fewer restrictions on what types of blanks can be printed on -- polyester, tri-blend, and ryon are all on the table!

DTG is perfect for small orders or made-to-order e-commerce platforms. There is no minimum quantity for orders or increased setup fees for complex full-color designs. Cost-per-print is greater than traditional screen printing so quantity will play a role in determining if this process is appropriate.

CEO and founder, Mike Brown, started printing shirts for profit out of his studio apartment in Lake Oswego, Oregon as a senior in high school in 1982. The OnTheGo brand was established in 2013, specializing in custom vehicle creations via OnTheGo Racks.
